Build a Better Mentor Profile
Many clients find their mentors by searching mentor profiles. Want to attract the types of clients you want to work with? Update your profile following the steps in Mentor Profile Best Practices. If you’d like some assistance or suggestions, use the Profile Improvement Tool to have AI help write your story.
Your Mentor Profile picture helps sell you. Does yours show your head and shoulders with room around them? Is it in focus and well lit? Is it professional and complementary? If not, have a friend help you take a new one in a well lit room or in a shady spot outdoors. Avoid direct sun either on your face or behind you. Other things to know about your profile photo:
Crop your image to a 1:1 aspect ratio (equal width and height) using your phone’s editor before you upload it to Engage.
Make sure your face is centered and fully shows in the image. You do not want to cut it off!
The minimum size of the photo must be at least 500 pixels on each edge. If you take one on your phone it should meet these criteria.
